Obituary of Joan Moats

Joan Taylor Moats (nee Morris) Age 77. Tuesday August 7, 2007 at her late residence in Mt. Dora, FL with her family by her side. Born September 20, 1929 in Joliet. Graduate of Joliet Township High School and Joliet Junior College. She was employed for many years at Caterpillar, Inc. and Electromotive. She also taught at Geneva School for Girls. Member of the Eagles Club Foe 4335 in Eustis, FL where she was voted Mother of the Year in 2007. Preceded in death by her first husband, John T. Taylor, Jr.; one son, Timothy; her parents, Arthur J. and Irene (nee Doane) Morris; and one sister, Jean Stanish. Survived by her husband, Don Moats of Mt. Dora, FL; one son, Michael P. (Sarah) Taylor, Sr.; one daughter, Kathleen (David) Krakar; two grandsons, John (Stacy) Taylor and Michael Taylor Jr; and one sister, Sherry (Larry) Larkins. Funeral Services for Joan Taylor Moats will be private with interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
