Obituary of Larry Nunn

Larry V. Nunn Age 72. Passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at his late residence, with his family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. Retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company after over 36 years of service. Following retirement, he worked for the First National Bank of Joliet. He was an outdoorsman and avid elk and deer hunter, who enjoyed camping. He was a NASCAR fan and loved riding his Harley Davidson. One of his greatest loves was being with his family. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by his son, Douglas Nunn (1959); his parents, Vernor and Sarah Nunn. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Eunice M. Nunn of Joliet; two daughters, Terri (Dan) O'Brien of Channahon and Toni (Dr. Jeff) Fishel of Arcola, IL; six grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph and Danielle O'Brien; Daniel, Beau and Jeff, Jr. Fishel; his sister-in-law, Pearl (Greg) Pappas of Knoxville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Larry V. Nunn will be Monday, October 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Fr. Roger Kutzner will officiate. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
