Obituary of Harlow Peterson

Harlow L. Peterson "Toots" Age 85. Friday, November 23, 2007 at the home of his daughter in Berwyn, IL. Born in Joliet to the late Harlow J. and Mary (Mussario) Peterson. He was a lifelong resident. A WW II U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. Retired for Supreme Radiator and Body Co. following 46 years of service. Member of Cantigny Post VFW #367. Survived by his two daughters, Sandra (Michael) Strom of Joliet and Laurie (Cary) Plettau of Berwyn; three grandsons, Eric Strom, Joshua (Jayme) Strom USMC and Jacob Strom; his great-grandson, Eric Jr.; a sister, Violet (late William) Beallis of Joliet; his sister-in-law, Eleanor Wood of TN; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his wife, Jean (Mead) Peterson (1985); his daughter, Linda (2002) and his parents. Funeral services for Harlow L. Peterson will be Wednesday November 28, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Messiah Lutheran Church for services at 10:00 a.m. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
