Barbara J. Redlich (nee Asher) Age 77 At rest Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Heritage Health Nursing Home in Dwight, IL. Born in Kankakee, IL the daughter of the late Dale and LaVon (nee Dunn) Asher. Residing in Joliet since 1974. A U.S. Army veteran, honorably discharged in 1966 at Rank of Special 4. Member of American Legion Harwood Post #5. Survived is her loving husband, Ronald Redlich of Joliet; two daughters, Kristina Johnson of Joliet and Denise Redlich of Carbon Hill; five grandchildren, Alicia, Danielle, Jason, Stacey and Daina; two brothers, Dennis (Donna) Asher of IA and Lyle (Roberta) Asher of Kankakee; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents. Funeral Services for Barbara J. Redlich will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet with Rev. Karl K. Hess officiating. Interment with full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday morning 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
