Obituary of Michael R. Miklas

Michael R. Miklas "Mickey" Age 52, of Plainfield, passed away suddenly, Monday, May 30, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born November 1, 1963 in Chicago, to Stanley and Diane (nee Przybylski) Miklas, he was a graduate of Argo High School. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and camp. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and son-in-law. Surviving are his wife, Michelle Lee (nee Duncan) Miklas; two children, Ian and Julia Miklas; two sisters, Kim Vant Groenewout and Karen Miklas; nieces and nephews; and his dog, Hunter. He was preceded by his parents; and one brother, Daniel Miklas. Memorials in his name for the benefit of his children's education would be appreciated. A Memorial Visitation for Michael Miklas will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Fred C.
