Obituary of Dolores E. Gretz

Dolores E. "Sis" Gretz Age 89, a lifetime Joliet, IL resident, passed away Thursday July 28, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. She was born February 3, 1927 to the late Marie (nee Britz) and Lawrence Gretz. She is survived by her brother, Lawrence (Bonnie) Gretz; several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews as well as her dog Maggie also survive. Preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William (late Leona) Gretz. Sis retired from the Joliet Herald News after many years of service as a proof-reader. She was a longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. As it was Dolores' wish, cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside committal services will take place Saturday, September 3, 2016, 9:00 a.m. at St. John Cemetery, Clement at Ruby Street in Joliet.
