Obituary of Richard L Stone

Richard L. Stone Age 87, of Joliet and Shorewood, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Presence Villa Franciscan. Born November 3, 1928 in Joliet, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Cretia (Huston) Stone. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and worked for 35 years for Jewel as a meat cutter. He was a member of Cantigny VFW Post #367, Loyal Order of Moose, and St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Surviving are his beloved wife, Linda K. (nee White) Stone; four children, Michelle Foster, Rudolph (Diane) Stone, Briant (Shirley) Stone and Cheryl (Dave) Hockey; five grandchildren, Jacob Foster, Kyle Hockey, Amber Hockey, Stephen Foster and Nicole Foster; and a son-in-law, Larry Foster. Graveside services for Richard L. Stone will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. There will be no visitation.
