Obituary of Scott R. Oster

Scott R. Oster Age 41. At rest Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at his home following a courageous battle with ALS. Born in Oak Lawn, IL, a graduate of Lockport Township High School class of 1994 and graduate of Millikin University, Decatur, IL with a Bachelor's Degree in finance. He was an event accountant with Feld Entertainment, Aurora, IL for 15 years. A member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Palos Heights, IL. A past member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. Scott was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He loved history, working in his yard, and was an antique car enthusiast. Survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Kimberley (Hutter) Oster and his daughter, Faith Anne Oster both of Joliet; his mother, Judith Oster of Homer Glen; his three brothers, Marty (Cathy) of Homer Glen, Kevin (Sue) of Lockport, and Paul (Gail) Oster of Homer Glen; son-in-law of Mike and Sandy Hutter of Joliet; brother-in-law of Kevin Hutter of Crest Hill and Kristopher Hutter of Joliet. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his father, Martin Oster (2013). Funeral Services for Scott R. Oster will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7800 S. McCarthy Rd., Palos Heights, IL. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet, IL. Visitation Sunday 2-7p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL.
