Orval Dale Stout, Jr. Age 77. Peacefully, Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Retired from Local 150 Operating Engineers in 1995. Orval enjoyed farming and rebuilding tractors. Born December 19, 1939 in Iowa to Orval Dale, Sr. and Lois (nee Lamb) Stout. Survived by his daughter, Michelle (Joel) Harris; grandchildren, Kerstin (Fiance Nick Pasteris) DeKlerk, Reece, Bryce, Quincy, Rhett and Brady Harris; great grandchild Colson Pasteris; sisters, Roberta French and Betty (Oliver) Frazier; nephew Steven (Deb) French; great nephew Douglas French; and friend Sandy Reed. Preceded in death by his parents; son Jeff Stout (1994); and sister Donna Frazier. Funeral Services for Orval Dale Stout, Jr. will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL. Rev. Rodney Juell officiating. Interment will follow at Willard Grove Cemetery in Channahon, IL. Visitation Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service being conducted at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
