Obituary of Paul Palacios

Paul Palacios Age 52. Passed away suddenly on December 27, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet, IL on July 11, 1964 to Joseph and Frances (nee Medina) Palacios. Paul was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. He coached Belmont Little League for 10 years, Joliet Youth wresting, and was a father figure to many children. Survived by his wife of 27 years, Angelina M. Gutierrez; his eight children, Rebecca Rae Palacios, Amanda (Fidel) Rosiles, Paul (Monique) Palacios, Cassimira Palacios, Felipe Palacios, Adrian (Cheyenne) Palacios, Anthony (Maria) Palacios, and Olivia Palacios; his ten grandchildren, Faith Palacios, Davinee Palacios, Jakobi Davis, Layla Palacios, Jordan Aguinaga, Juliet Amara and "Pooki", Mia, Marissa, and Oscar Rosiles; his nine siblings, Angel Palacios, Joe Palacios, Rick Mejia, Rose Mejia, Lee Enoch, Melanie Tevenau, Tanya McCarty, Tim McCarty, and Melissa Enoch; in-laws, Sal (Aida) Gutierrez and Denise Muncy. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends of Paul Palacios may gather on Saturday, December 31, 2016 for a Memorial Gathering from 1-3 p.m. at the Fred C Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds, Joliet, Il. Military honors under the auspices of the United States Army will conclude the services at 3:00 p.m. As it was Paul's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
