Obituary of Dorothy Jane Murphy

Dorothy Jane Murphy (nee Hasse) Age 95. At rest Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Joliet to the late Walter and Adela "Dot" (Hogreff) Hasse, she was a lifelong resident. Survived by her children, Jeanne Ortiz and Patrick Murphy both of Joliet; four grandchildren, Gerald Raub, Kevin (Janet) Raub, Tammy (Emiliano Espinosa) Raub and Tony Ortiz; two great-grandchildren, Cole Edward Raub and Claire Helen Raub. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J. "Eddie" Murphy (12/10/1991) and her stepfather, William Simon. Funeral Services for Dorothy Jane Murphy will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016, 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. John Cemetery.
