Obituary of Timmy D Stotts

Timmy D. Stotts "Hotshot" Age 49, of Plainfield, IL and formerly Chicago, died Wednesday January 4, 2017. He was born October 29, 1967 to the late Helen (Breske) and Wiley Stotts and was raised on the North side of Chicago. He attended Steinmetz High School. Beloved husband of Jackie (Hall) Stotts; loving father of Timmy Stotts, Jr. and Dad to Jeff Kinney; grandpa of Kaden and Kameron. Dear brother of Jimmy Stotts, brother-in-law of Patrick (Jean) Kinney; nephew of Leon (Jenny) and Paul (Linda) Stotts; one niece, two nephews and several cousins also survive. Timmy, a truck driver, retired from Parsec in Elwood, IL, he was a former police officer for the Village of Stone Park, IL. An avid motorcyclist, who thoroughly enjoyed the spirit of giving, always looked forward to the annual Toys for Tots holiday drive. Known to be able to fix just about anything, his hobbies included fishing, shooting-pool and guns- as well as video poker. The Stotts family will always be grateful to Dr. Ellen Gustafson and Dr. Isaac Mezo for their friendship, care and compassion throughout Timmy's illness. A Memorial Gathering in honor of Timmy D. Stotts will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Toys for Tots would be appreciated. As it was Timmy's request, cremation rites have been accorded.
