Obituary of Gregory E. Dulny

Gregory E. Dulny, age 55 died January 29th after a courageous battle with diabetes and multiple subsequent strokes. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet resident. A graduate of Joliet Central High School, Class of 1980. As his parents were in the restaurant business operating Frank & Mary's Restaurant in Joliet, Greg followed the tradition when he opened Heroe's & Legends Sports Bar and later went on to open Glory Days Sports Bar & Grill. He loved spending time talking to his customers about anything, and he also loved fishing and playing golf. Preceded by his father, Frank Dulny (1979). Survived by his loving mother, Mary (nee Bucciarelli) Dulny-Duchene of Joliet, step-father, Roy Duchene of Joliet, three sisters, Ann (Bob) Sterioti of Shorewood, Sue (Chuck) Skeldon of Shorewood and Mary Lou (Dr. Robert) Larson of Joliet, two brothers, Dave (Jennifer) Dulny of Kansas and Mike (Toni) Dulny of Shorewood, and two daughters, Casey and Katie Dulny of Joliet. Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and his ever faithful dog and companion Shaggy also survive. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Greg's caregivers for the last few years, Rochelle and Yvette. Your loving care will always be remembered.
