Obituary of Dennis Norbert Flemming

Dennis Norbert Flemming Age 82. Passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Hospital. Born on January 29, 1935 in Reading, PA to the late Norbert A. and Mary M. (nee Hohl) Flemming. Dennis was a United States Army Veteran who was awarded a medal of good conduct. He had a passion for walking and being one with nature. He walked in the will of God as a Christian man. Survived by his daughters, Mellissa (Dominic) Lia, Tiffany Diehl and Libby Ray (Greg) Moore; grandson, Antonio Lia; granddaughters, Kristina Lia and Kristie Haag; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Theresa Kathleen Flemming; and one brother, James M. Flemming. Funeral Services for Dennis Norbert Flemming will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where full military honors will be held under the auspices of the United States Army. Visitation 9 am until the time of service.
