Obituary of Norma Jean Carpenter

Norma Jean Carpenter (nee McGee) Age 87. At rest Friday, March 17, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Born in Pana, IL, the daughter of the late George Condon and Margaret (Thomas) Orenic. Resident of Joliet most of her life. Surviving are three children, Richard E. (Cynde) Carpenter of Las Vegas, NV, William H. (Charlene) Carpenter of New Lenox and Joy (Ben) Kirchner of Channahon; five grandchildren, Rusty Carpenter, Wendy (Michael) Siewierski, Jycee (Nathan) Feiner, Zachary Carpenter, Jenai (Pedro) Katzel; 13 great grandchildren; three sisters, Margie Webb of Joliet, Donna (John) Volker of Montgomery and Linda (John) Bazotti of Joliet; four brothers, Thomas (Pat) McGee of Ottawa, Robert McGee of Three Rivers, MI, James (Cheri) McGee of Aurora and Frank Orenic of Joliet; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by her loving husband, Eugene H. Carpenter (1980); her parents; siblings, George McGee, John McGee, Mary Sukley and Sharon Tryon. Funeral Services for Norma Jean Carpenter will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL to St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
