Obituary of Virginia J. Husar

Virginia J. Husar, (nee Baczynski), age 92, of Joliet, and formerly of Chicago and Punta Gorda, FL, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Presence Villa Franciscan.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard S. Hermanski (1981) and Andrew J. Husar (1998); her daughter, Carolyn (Lawrence) Hutten; and her sister, Catherine "Sis" (Ronald) Buscio.

Surviving are her son, Jack (Bethenia Salinas) Hermanski; her grandchildren, Mark (Sue) Hutten, Laura (Phil Pacione) Pawlak, and Linda (Troy) Peifer; her great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Pawlak, Lindsay, Ashley and Luke Peifer, John and Kelly Hutten, and Katelyn Berg; one sister, Loretta (late Edwin) Hansen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Virginia Husar will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 9:15 a.m.  from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet to the Church of St. Jude for Mass at 10:00 a.m.  Burial in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Presence Villa Franciscan would be appreciated.  Visitation will be held Thursday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  For more information, please call (815) 741-5500 or visit her Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
