Obituary of Gary D. Threlkeld

Gary D. Threlkeld

Age 60. Passed away suddenly, Monday, May 8, 2017 at his late residence as the result of complications of chronic diabetes. Born in Paducah, KY, raised in Berwyn, IL, and a longtime Westchester and Minooka, IL resident before relocating to Morris, IL four years ago. Formerly employed at Chase Products of Broadview, IL with over 26 years of service. Gary was the ultimate motorcycle enthusiast. He has owned and ridden every type of motorcycle there was to ride. Gary just needed a full tank of gas, two wheels, and a open road and he was in his element.  Gary also loved camping, canoeing, and going to the beach, and none of this was complete without his extensive library of music.

Preceded by his father, Earl Threlkeld, and his mother, Betty (nee Lynch) Wilcox; and one brother, Earl Wayne Threlkeld.

Survived by his wife, Cheryl L. (nee Giacolo) Threlkeld; his stepfather, Fred (Rose) Wilcox of Berwyn, IL; one sister, Vickie (Jeffrey) Rockel of Homer Glen; one brother, Fred T. Wilcox of Minnesota; one sister-in-law, Shirley Threlkeld of Paducah, KY; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
