Michael Joseph Boland

Age 77, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his home with his family by his side, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Chicago and a Minooka resident for 19 years.  Michael was a graduate of De La Salle High School and went on to the University of Illinois where he graduated with a Master's Degree in Engineering.  He has been a motivational speaker for over 30 years and a Real Estate Agent for the past 15 years.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Carol J. Boland of Minooka; six children; eleven grandchildren; great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services for Michael Joseph Boland will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL, with Fr. Chris Groh officiating.  As it was Michael’s request, cremation rites will be accorded following his funeral services.
