Age, 75 passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Rosewood Care Center.  Beverly was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 5, 1941 to Ralph and Mabel Ankrom.  Beverly moved to Crest Hill in 1995 from Largo, Florida.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, James J. Masek, III; one son, James (Bonnie) O’Toole; one daughter, Melinda (Thomas) Pisano ; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph (Tootie) Ankrom, Mark Ankrom , and Terry (Karen) Ankrom; sister-in-law, Catherine (Charles) Dickerson; brother-in-law, Joseph (Frances) Masek; daughter-in-law, Michelle Means; son-in-law, Buddy Parslow; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Betty Jane “Bea” Parslow; one son, Ronald C. Means; three sisters, Grace Dempster , Ora Milligan and Lawana Merkel; and one brother, Albert Ankrom. 

Funeral Services for Beverly Carol Masek will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL.   Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.  For information, please call 815-741-5500 or visit her Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
