Agnes R. Homerding age 98 at rest peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center with her loving family at her side.

Agnes was born in Plainfield, IL, December 28, 1918 to Thomas and Frances (nee Aschenbrenner) Lambert. Agnes was a member of the Will County Farm Bureau, an avid Cubs Fan; she enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, listening to music and dancing. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her four children, Sharon R. Homerding (Fiance Frank Gersich), Daniel (Lynn), David (Sharon) and Ronald (Nancy) Homerding. Six grandchildren; Melissa (Matt) Chesney, Derek (Sarah) Homerding, Nicholas (Rachel Brown), Brian, Samantha and Dana (CJ) Johnson; six great grandchildren; Cole, Chase, Kendyl, Logan, Brianna and Autumn, one sister; Loretta Lambert, aunt of many nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond (2005) and two sisters, Marie Bodine and Margaret (the late Stephen) Homerding.

Funeral Services for Agnes R. Homerding will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris, IL to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Morris, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 NOON.  Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 would be appreciated.
