Frances R. Moore, age 92, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center.  She was born in Joliet and has been a lifelong Joliet resident.  She was formerly employed as a secretary and at the American Can Company in the 1940’s.  Frances is a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300.  Frances was a kind and generous woman who viewed taking care of her family as the center of her world. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet.

Preceded by her husband, Robert C. Moore (1991); her parents, Joseph and Frances (nee Terdich) Sukle; and one brother, Joseph Sukle.

Survived by her two sons, Terrance (Cathy) Moore, of Omaha, NE. and Brian (Paula) Moore, of Normal, IL; one sister, Josephine (the late Rich) Shiffer, of Joliet, IL; three grandchildren, Matthew, Mary Kate, and Victoria Moore, also survive.  

Funeral Services for Frances R. Moore will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL.  Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.  For more information, please call 815-741-5500 or visit her Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
