Obituary of Denise Young

Denise Marie Valandingham-Young, (nee Sarnowski), age 49, at rest, suddenly, Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Born August 19, 1968 in Long Beach, CA she was the daughter of Raymond and Cynthia (nee Bray) Sarnowski.

Survived by her loving husband, Gregory J. Young; children, Heather (Jason) Bechtold, Jason Valandingham, and Brian Valandingham; two grandchildren, Harper and Hudson Bechtold; her parents, Cynthia and Raymond Sarnowski; siblings, Kimberly Sarnowski and Scott Sarnowski; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Justin and Madison Johnson, and Joseph Sarnowski; special family members, Frances Child and Donna Hilton; and dear friends, Iris P. Nevels, Jennifer Peachey, Joan Dunlap.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald “Duke” “Duner”  Valandingham; a brother, Matthew Sarnowski; grandparents, Irene and Raymond Bray and Emily Sarnowski; a friend, Michael Pinnick; and her husband’s parents, Loucindy Dallas and L. G. Young.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

Funeral services for Denise Marie Young will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Fred C.
