Richard A. Imbo

At the age of 66, on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Richard A. Imbo passed away suddenly from a heart attack. It was a day like any other day.  Richard was all about his family although separated by distance they were never separated in his heart. He was born to the late Salvatore and Angeline (Reggi) Imbo on June 28, 1951 in Chicago and was raised in Oak Park, Cicero, Berwyn, and then Lockport, IL. Richard then retired to Murfreesboro, TN with his wife.  He was a member of Local 705 and 710 Teamsters

Survived by his loving wife, Kathleen A. Imbo (McFarland) of Murfreesboro, TN; his sons, Anthony Imbo, from Joliet and Jonathan A. Imbo, from Joliet; his sister, Elisabeth Imbo, from Berwyn; eight grandchildren, Joseph (Miranda), Nicole, Alissa, Richard, Michael, Jasmine, Isabella and Louis Imbo; and three great-grandchildren, Adrian, Aubriella and Mykel Imbo.

Preceded by his parents; and his brothers, Ralph Imbo and Nicholas Imbo.

Funeral Services for Richard A. Imbo will be Monday, November 20, 2017, at 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL.  As it was Richard’s request, cremation rites have been accorded.  Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 p.m.  Fred C.
