Christopher Lee Ross

Age 42, of Channahon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.  He was born in Painesville, OH, the son of Robert and Patricia (nee Downing) Ross.  Christopher spent his formative years in Channahon and was a graduate of Minooka Community High School, Class of 1994.  Chris had a love of music, family, his friends and his canine companion, Bailey.  An avid outdoorsman, he thoroughly enjoyed fishing.  He had a genuine heart and always offered a helping hand.

Surviving are his loving parents, Robert and Patricia Ross of Channahon; brothers, Jeffery (Katherine) Ross of Minooka and Bryan (Kimberly) Ross of Plainfield; sister, Kathryn (Aaron) Cox of Shorewood; nephews, Isaac Ross and Logan Cox; maternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley (nee Myers) Downing of Leesburg, FL; and his uncle, Scott (Valerie) Ross of Mentor, OH.  Chris is also survived by cousins and dear friends, especially Mark Kinzey of Channahon.

He was preceded by his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Ann (nee Cowan) Ross and his aunt, Mary Downing.

A memorial service for Christopher Lee Ross will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fred C.
