Obituary of James E. Anderson

James E. Anderson, age 94, of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2017 at The Parc of Joliet.

Born May 15, 1923 in Red Lake Falls, MN he was the son of Phillip and Maude Anderson, and moved to Joliet at the age of twelve.  Jim worked many years as a machinist for Rayloc in Plainfield.  He loved to bowl and play cards with the West Side Euchre Club.  He also enjoyed being a lifelong member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Esther Anderson, his dear second wife, Marjorie J. (nee Phillips) Anderson (March 19, 2015); his parents; and one sister, Dorothy.

Surviving are two step children, Karen (David) Puntney of Joliet, and Phillip (Melissa) Arnold of Sleepy Hollow, IL; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Cable, Jennifer Ambrosini, Traci (Jeremy) Newberry, Michelle (Christopher) Prokup and Bradley (Jamie) Puntney; nine great-grandchildren, Ashton and Zoey Cable, Grace and Lucas Newberry, Jacob, Dominic and Isabella Ambrosini, Henry Prokup, and Kellan Puntney; one brother, Charles Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
