Julia Longoria

Julia Longoria passed away peacefully, at the age of 95, on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, with her loving family by her side.  Julia was born in Childress, TX, on December 11, 1922, to the union of Juan and Albina (nee Partida) Longoria.   She relocated to the Joliet area in 1995.  

Julia is survived by her daughter, Maria Elena Aguirre; her grandchildren, Rene (Annie) Acosta, Jr., Araceli (Javier) Ordaz and Rolando Acosta; her numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Ricardo Longoria, Clara Longoria, Socorro Gonzalez, and Petra Factor. Several nieces, nephews also survive.

She was preceded by her parents and her siblings, Daniel Longoria, Pauline Longoria, Dominga Ysaguirre, Rafaela Guajardo, Lucia Soto, Guadalupe Sanchez and Crespin Longoria.

A Memorial Visitation for Julia Longoria will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL, from 10:00 a.m. until the time the time of services at 1:00 p.m.   Fr.
