Roger Henry Cull, Sr.

Age 81, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Plainfield.

Roger was born on February 14, 1936 in Chenequa, WI to Henry Nixon and Agnes May (nee Davis) Cull. He was a proud member of Operating Engineers Local #150,  and was a retired heavy equipment operator.  He also owned and operated his own excavating and snow removal business.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #1290, and the DuPage Drifters Camping Club.  Some of his favorite past times were singing around the camp fire and following his beloved Chicago Cubs.

Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Barbara Ann (nee Tracy) Rames Cull; his children, Roger (Nancy) Cull, Jr. of New Orleans, LA, Susan (Robert) Hill of Naperville, Scott Cull of New Orleans, LA, Cindy (Paul) Sanders of Minooka, and Danielle (John) Giza of Joliet; numerous grandchildren; his brother Frank (Joan) Cull of Frankfurt; and mother-in-law, Marguerite Katherine Marlow Tracy of Pewaukee, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Lester Cull; two sisters, Marion White and Joyce Anstey; and one grandson, Ryan Rames.

Funeral Services for Roger Henry Cull, Sr. will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet.  Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of services at 3:00 p.m.     Interment in St. Charles Cemetery, Hartland, WI, will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation would be appreciated.  For more information, please call (815) 741-5500 or visit his Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
