Maureen Chrismer
(nee Hennessy)

Age 63, of Plainfield, IL, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, December 28, 2017.  She was born June 3, 1954 to the late Albert and Therese (nee Gregorich) Hennessy.  Maureen was raised and educated in Joliet, and was a 1972 graduate of St. Francis Academy.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Lewis University in 1976.

Beloved wife of David Chrismer; loving mother of Sadie Chrismer (Tanner White, fiancée) and Kellie Chrismer; dear sister of Michael (Kathie) Hennessy, Daniel (Wanda) Hennessy, Kathleen (John) Miller, Dennis Hennessy (Dee Kennedy), Tim (Debbie) Hennessy, Eileen (Jon C.) Smith, Loreen Benson (Hank Walsh), Shawn (Sandy) Hennessy, Duffy (Sue) Hennessy, and Patrick (Kelly) Hennessy; and she was the sister-in-law of Scott Benson and Jim Davidson.  Maureen is also survived by her special “aunt”, Lorry Brncich, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded by her parents, and one sister, Colleen Davidson.

Funeral services for Maureen Chrismer will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the Fred C.
