Obituary of Jesse David Fugett

David Fugett

Age 61, of Minooka, IL died suddenly on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Foster G. McGaw Hospital in Proviso Township.  He was born in Joliet, IL on October 11, 1956 to the late Goldia (DeHart) and Jesse Fugett and was a lifetime Joliet/Minooka resident.

He was the beloved and devoted husband of 38 years to Sally Jo (Stefanich) Fugett; loving father of Ryan Fugett and Laura (Eric) Wood; proud grandfather of McKenna, Hadley and Finley. Also surviving are his brothers and sister, Dennis Fugett, Judy (Dennis) Ryan, and John (Sandy) Fugett; brothers-in-law, Don Stefanich and Ron (Mary) Stefanich; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dave was employed by Diamond Technical Services of Bolingbrook. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed snow skiing, boating, relaxing by the pool and camping in his new motor home.

He will be remembered fondly by many, especially his family, for his methodical thinking and ability to troubleshoot and execute. His problem-solving capabilities went far beyond the mechanical variety. He will be sorely missed.
