Lindsey Lollar (nee Powers)

Obituary of Lindsey Marie Lollar (nee Powers)

On Monday, April 2, 2018, Lindsey Marie Lollar passed away peacefully, at the age of 32, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.  She was born on July 24, 1985 in Joliet, IL and was raised in Shorewood, IL.  She was a graduate of Joliet West High School, Class of 2003.  Lindsey had a connection with people that was instantaneous.  It was as if you had known her for a long time and she could help you with whatever you needed.  As the manager of several retail stores including CVS, Speedway, and Family Dollar, she was in her element when solving problems and customer relations.  In her free time she enjoyed being outside with a fishing pole in her hands or in the kitchen cooking a meal for those she loved. Not only did she love the family dog more than anything, but she loved all animals.

Lindsey is survived by her loving husband, Scott M. Lollar; her son, Joseph William Hirsch; her parents, Robert and Cynthia (nee Wiechec) Powers; one sister, Tiffany Powers; her husband’s parents, Randy and Barbara Lollar; and sister-in-law, Laura Maki.  Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

She is preceded by her grandparents and one uncle.
