Obituary of Marc Guzman

Marc Anthony Guzman Age 29, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, January 24, 2008. Born December 21, 1978 in Joliet, he was a lifetime resident. Preceded in death by his father, Jose Z. Guzman; his maternal grandfather, Luis R. Martinez; and paternal grandparents, Jose and Graciana (Zamudio) Guzman. Beloved son of Hermelinda Martinez-Guzman; loving father of Julianna and Marc II; dearest fiancé of Monica Galindo; dear brother of Monica (Duval) Verdin, Susan (Rolando) Guerrero, Jose L. Guzman, Mario Guzman and Michael Guzman; fond uncle of Gabriela, Duval Jr., Christopher; Luis, Miguel, Jose; and Mariah; maternal grandmother, Lucia Martinez; many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. He was employed with Knapp Electric. Marc enjoyed life to the fullest; he was a devoted and loving father, who loved his family. His family and friends will dearly miss him. Funeral Services for Marc Anthony Guzman will be Monday, January 28, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
