Thomas J. Hall It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend on April 29, 2008 at the Inn at Willow Falls. Born November 10, 1919 in Kentucky to the late Thomas and Clara (nee Shain) Hall. He was a U.S. Army Veteran; and was an amateur boxer in his younger years. He was employed as a Union laborer for many years. An avid fisherman and hunter. Member of the Joliet Moose Lodge #300. Tom was a loving, unselfish man, who was always giving of himself to his family and friends. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his son, Robert J. (Judy) Hall; grandchildren, Robert A. (Shawna) Hall and Suzanna (Porfirio) Ibarra; great-grandchildren, Jessica L., Tyler B., Antonio T., Chyanne C. and Rosalinda M.; dear and close friend, Elsie Edburg; sisters-in-law, Rose (Larry) Gresser, and Miriam Bernhardt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Christine (nee Aimone) Hall; and numerous brothers and sisters, including Robert L. Bernhardt. The Family would like to thank the staff at the Inn at Willow Falls for their kind and loving care of their father during the last years of his life. Funeral Services for Thomas J. Hall will be Friday, May 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. the funeral home chapel. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation today, Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
