Bill and I started bowling together at the Tivoli Bowling Alley. It was a great, “male bonding” night. We would have a few beers together. In my case it would be three or five a night. In Bill’s case...well maybe it was more then a case. It was great keeping score with Bill because he wrote left handed (bowled with right) and he would sit on my right using the grease pencil for the overhead projection. He and I would have the scores down before the bowler turned around. It was always interesting the first few weeks after the summer when Bill would try to fit his fingers (that always had one pointing in a different direction or swollen because of his level of playing “softball” with FUBAR) back in his ball.sometimes he needed to have the ball redrilled. I think it was a good outlet for Bill. He would smoke his pipe, tell me about the latest book he was reading, and sometimes would share some of his experiences from his time as a Marine. I said a prayer to thank the Lord for blessing me with a lifetime of your brotherly love. I still remember when you teased and tormented me. I was the innocent victim who you always baggered relentlessly.
When I think of you I feel nothing but love and pride. Not only have you been a great brother but a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, and uncle

Bill will be missed. My dad and I bowled with him for many years. I knew him since I was a little kid. I think Bill was the first person that this shy kid talked to. It was fun going with dad to watch him bowl on christmas vacation from school. Then after a while I started bowling with him and the team as well. Bill was fun to be with. A very nice man.
Great person to drink a beer with. Bowling and Beer go hand and hand. Nick name for Bill was Special K. Last name Krueger. It is said to children to help get over the fear of a storm. That God is Bowling. Now when a storm comes I will know Bills on a new team. Getting lots of strikes with God. His passing is hard. I will be praying for Bills family and all the people he touched through out his life. I miss you Bill. Keep on bowling in the clouds my friend. Old style beer is on tap. I will raise a bottle to you my friend. You are in the big leagues now. Bye.
