I got to know Henry from going to the races. I would see him in Kankakee, Lasalle and Fairbury. I enjoyed sitting by him and “Eck” who used to go to the races too. My condolences to Linda and the rest of Henry’s family.

My dearest husband, Henry Kiertscher. You and I got together sixteen years ago and they have been the happiest years of my life. How lucky were we that we knew each other as friends and coworkers at Flexco, years before we began dating. I believe God paved the way for us to be together. In addition to being a wonderful husband, you were a wonderful and kindhearted person and I am so proud to have been with you. I miss you more than words can say. All my love always, your wife, Linda

So sorry for the loss of our dear friend Henry. Henry was a man you could count on in good times and difficult times. He loved his wife Linda beyond measure. Henry was such a wonderful, gracious, and generous friend. From Bocce-ball to Bowling to Baseball at the Slammers, Henry was always a great sport and his “You got robbed” comment constantly made us feel better when we weren’t performing so well. From our lunches and dinners together, to concerts and plays, to New Year celebrations, to Shorewood Glen Ravinias, Henry’s sense of humor, kind demeanor, and positive attitude always made these get-togethers a delightful experience. Our sincere condolences to Henry’s beloved wife, Linda, and to Henry’s favorite cat, Macy. We will miss you greatly, Henry! Rest in peace. —Kathy and Frank Rink

Dear Linda, While there are no words that can ease your pain, please know I am thinking of you. Henry was a wonderful co-worker and it was my privilege to know him. I was so happy when you two found each other and I loved seeing the smile on your face when you spoke of him. I remember at Flexco's big dance when Henry joined us on the dance floor. That was the beginning of Henry and Linda's Cinderella story.
