When we bought our first house 23 years ago, it came with Bob. Bob was my tenant living in the back of the house, but little did we know how important he would become to me and my family. He became an indulgent grandfather and a great friend.
My children will always cherish the Christmas gifts, the cherry pies, the Easter baskets, and the stories and pictures he shared from when he was growing up in Connecticut. But most important of all are the memories of the time he spent with us as family.
He was like a grandfather to my kids, and he cared for them as if they were his own. He attended every Grandparents’ Day at my son Freddy’s school. He went to Hiromi’s quinceañera and shared the grandfather-daughter dance with her. He was there for every single milestone.
It brings us great pain that he is no longer with us, but we hope he is resting peacefully. We will carry his memory in our hearts for the rest of our lives and never forget the caring, thoughtful, and loving man he was. He will always be a part of our family.

I had the pleasure and blessing of knowing Bob for 13 years as a brother Knight. He was a man of deep faith and a truly generous heart. We are grateful for everything he did for our council 382, our community, and our parish. May he rest in the perpetual light of Christ and rejoice in the loving embrace of our Lord. God bless you, Brother Bob.

Bob worked for me for twenty- five years. We became good friends, and I enjoyed our chats and stories over the years.
He was a very kind and compassionate friend. He was always very proud of his two children, his country, and he loved collecting train memorabilia. He loved to participate in country-western dancing.
He will be missed by his family, and all of his friends.
I will miss his smile, stories, visits, and texts.
With deepest sympathy to his family.
