My deepest condolences coming straight from my heart, I can’t believe it ! Is it really true! I was her Doppelgänger and just like Gunda‘s life with Uncle Frank, my life is with an American Soldier too. I walked in her shoes knowing how it is when you live far away from home in a different country. It is and was not always easy to fly home to Germany to be there with the loved ones on special occasions like Birthdays , Weddings and Funerals.
I will miss her a lot and will never forget her.
From my Family in Germany, they also want to say goodbye to Gunda and saying their condolences. My mom Eleonora, was Gunda’s sister in law and my two sisters Monika and Lydia , with their Families.
