Patricia I. White

Age 80, of Plainfield and formerly Lombard, Illinois, passed peacefully, Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at the Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet, IL.

Pat was born on August 13, 1945 in Chicago, the daughter of Bernice (Serchia) and Joseph Ippolito. She was raised in Berwyn, IL, and graduated with the class of 1963 from Morton West High School.

Pat is survived by her husband, John P. White; two daughters, Lisa (Fioti) Bowe and Gina (Fioti) Concialdi; grandchildren, Niko, Lucas and Courtney Bowe and Salvador "Sammy" Concialdi; sister, Joann (Gilmore) Catalano; niece, Natalie Catalano and nephew, Joseph Catalano.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Pat, a retired hairstylist loved music from the fifties. She truly loved the era and visiting the Hop, dancing to her favorites when she was younger. She also enjoyed playing bingo and cards, especially poker.  She belonged to two card clubs, cherishing the members who became lifelong friends. 

A memorial gathering for Patricia I. White will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd) Joliet, with a service of remembrance beginning at 4:30 p.m.

As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care or the American Lung Association.
