Obituary of Jacqueline Ann Roberts

Jacqueline Ann Roberts (Strle), age 76, lifelong resident of Crest Hill, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital, Joliet. She was born April 29, 1950, in Joliet to the late Augustine and Dorothy Strle.

She graduated from Lockport West High School, class of 1968, and worked for most of her career for the Lockport Area Special Education Cooperative, until her retirement in 2018. She was a Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant for most of her life. Jackie enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She especially loved to go and watch all of her granddaughters’ activities and was very proud of all of their accomplishments.

She is survived by her loving children, Kevin (Candi) Roberts and Kristine (Adam) Hutten; her adoring granddaughters, Jovi, Jayci, and Kayli Roberts, Scarlett and Savannah Hutten; her dear sisters, Gerry and Kathy Strle; dear brother, Kenny (Sheryl) Strle; beloved niece, Stacey (Nick) Hendricks; beloved nephews, Michael (Erin) Strle and Shawn (Jess) Strle; and cherished lifelong best friend, Jo Ann Flink, as well as many other family members.

Visitation for Jacqueline Ann Roberts will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jacqueline’s name may be made to the PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) Foundation or Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care.
