Devin,
We all had our own moments in time with you. Your family was blessed to have you for your entire life, and the rest of us were blessed to have you for whatever chapter we were given.
I was fortunate enough to know you from the very beginning. When you entered my daycare as a little baby, you brought so much joy, warmth, and laughter into my life. And that smile—oh, that smile—and that mischievous grin could brighten even the hardest day.
As the years passed, your friends were blessed to know the young man you became. Although I didn't get to witness every chapter of your life, the love I had for you never changed. You made an impression on my heart as a child that will remain with me forever, and I am proud that in some small way I was able to be part of your journey and contribute to the wonderful man you became.
No matter what part of your life we shared with you, we are all better for having known you. The world feels a little dimmer without you. The sun doesn't shine quite as brightly, and the flowers don't seem to smell quite as sweet because you are no longer here.
Be good in Heaven, Devin. And try not to give God too much grief.
I promise to keep your memory alive and to carry you in my heart always.
Sydney and I love you. We will never forget you.
Love always,
Miss Dee Dee

I met Devin through my son, Andrew, who was friends with Devin's older brother Dylan. They were years apart in school but that didn't make a difference. Devin made this world a better place. He was larger than life. He and my husband would always joke around and gosh did he make my husband laugh and me as well. It just seemed that when he was around, he made everyone smile. He was truly a gift. Devin embraced life and lived it to the fullest. Jake, Tracy, and Dylan, may you know that one day you will rejoice with him again where there will be never-ending burnouts and wheelies. I know that Andrew will always be there for Dylan and for you both as well. Rest in Peace, Devin. Your friend gang will never let anyone forget your name.

Devin was one of the finest young men that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
His personality and energy was inspiring! To watch him in action dirt bike racing was so exciting and exhibited his love for the sport along with his experience and dedication.
He had a strong drive for success in everything he done that was a result of the guidance of his amazing parents.
My sincere condolences and love to his parents, Jake and Tracy, and to his brother, Dylan, and to his entire family and friends who love him.
Devin will truly be missed, but his memory will remain in our hearts forever!!!!
Sending my love and prayers for God's comfort and strength during this tragic and difficult time!

I met Devin years ago, I believe he was probably in 8th grade through my son Andrew and Dylan, Devin’s brother. Before meeting him I remembered Andrew talking about Devin and hearing he was still in junior high and my son was a senior in high school. I kept asking myself why is my son hanging around such a young kid until I actually met Devin. Those questions stopped, I knew why he hung around him and all the others kids did too. Devin made you forget about your problems even at such a young age. He made me laugh all the time and the numerous inappropriate jokes we’d laugh about. Man did we laugh. I always figured Andrew’s friends liked me better than Andrew, but I loved seeing him. I’m going to miss him a lot and what he meant to Andrew. Devin was a young man but even at that age, he made me a better person! Thank you Devin for touching my life in so many ways. Until we meet again.
