Marrying into this family is one of the best things that has ever happened in my life. Cathy, along with Johnny, officially became my in-laws over 20 years ago but I have always seen them as my second parents for over 30! Cathy was a great cook, enjoyable to party with, and was awesome with all her grandkids. She always had a smile and I loved making her laugh. She was so strong during the bad times and so loving and caring for her family and friends. She would help anybody in need and definitely sound off when she needed to be heard. At family get togethers, she and the kids would play euker, LRC, or Mexican train and there was so much joy and her infectious laugh that got yourself laughing with her. She really held this family together.
Losing Cathy has been like losing my own mother. I know because I have already lost my mom. I cried(am crying) just the same and will continue to mourn her.
I love you Mom, and will miss you.
