Val and Evonne and family.
I. Am so very sorry to hear the passing of your brother Rick. May God bless you through this difficult time. May God show Rick beautiful colors and objects in heaven as he will see how beautiful heaven is. May Rick see your mom and dad how happy he will be. My heart breaks for your family, but know Rick will be happy to see and be beside your parents. God bless you all. I apologize I can’t make his mass but know I will donate to sunny hill for a great cause.
Sincerely
Betsy hock

Dear Family,
I met Rick about 55 years ago while passing my paper route on Westshire Drive. He'd be outside on summer days and we would have brief conversations. Fast forward 35 years .... and Rick and his Mom were talking to my mother-in-law at St. Mary's Nativity when my name came up. Rick says ... "Oh, his birthday is May 28." His memory was unbelievable. Soon after that, I happened to see Rick at a 4th of July party and we kept in touch for several years. Rick was truly a special individual. God Bless him and his family.

I’m so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing! I have so many good memories of our childhood together in the neighborhood and at Coal City area club as well as dinners with Rick up in Chicago. He always spoke about both of you and your children and how proud he was of all of you. I can think of no one more deserving of seeing and touching the face of God than his faithful servant Rick! I can only imagine the joy in heaven of Rick seeing John, Edith and Robert! God bless all of you!

We came to know Rick and his mother Edie through the Catholic charismatic prayer community many years ago. We can only imagine his joy in seeing Jesus and his family in heaven! We are deeply happy for him.

Rick was such an intelligent and inquisitive person. He had a way of seeing the world that went far beyond eyesight, His curiosity, wisdom, and kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His legacy will live on in the memories and hearts of those who loved him.
Prayers for Rick and all of you - praying for peace, comfort, and strength in the days ahead. May his memory be eternal. Rest in peace cousin.
