To LaChelle, Lisa, Tiffany, and the entire family and friends of Sister Davis,
We extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences as you mourn the loss of a truly remarkable woman. Sister Davis left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her, demonstrating extraordinary determination, selflessness, and an unshakeable love for Jehovah. Her life was a vibrant example of what it means to give one's best in every endeavor—whether working tirelessly as a single mother to care for her daughters, achieving her personal goal of earning a university degree at age 71, or using her creative talents to help others.
Above all, her deep passion for the ministry and her joyful spirit of reaching out to share the good news with everyone she met brought glory to Jehovah. Her visit to Bethel and her decades of zeal leave behind a rich spiritual legacy. Her industrious and self-sacrificing life brings to mind the warm words found at Proverbs 31:29, 31:
"There are many capable women, but you—you surpass them all. Give her the reward for what her hands have done, and let her works praise her in the city gates."
We know how deeply her presence will be missed by her daughters, grandchildren, great-granddaughters, and her spiritual family. Yet, we find immense strength in knowing that her long record of faithful integrity is safely preserved in Jehovah’s limitless memory. The Grand Creator promises a time when grief will be a thing of the past, as expressed in one of Sister Davis' favorite Bible verses, Isaiah 25:8:
"He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."
We look forward with eager expectation to the near future when Jehovah will fulfill His promise of the resurrection. What a joyous moment it will be to welcome Sister Davis back on a paradise earth—vibrant, healthy, and ready to enjoy endless life surrounded by those she loved so dearly.
May Jehovah" sustain and cushion your hearts during this time of sorrow, and may your cherished memories bring you peace until you are reunited. Our thoughts and prayers remain with all of you.
With warm Christian love,
The Guillory Family
