Lil Mrs. Jeanne was an awesome little lady. I loved doing her hair every wk and having our girly conversations and her fav thing was to bring her coffee. She was a lil firecracker and I will always remember you lil lady. My thoughts and prayers will always be with you and your family!

Dear Mary,
I am so heartbroken to hear about the passing of your mother Jeannie. I’ll never forget how kind warm and welcoming she was to me during my time in Joliet. I only spent 4 months with you and it felt like forever as it felt like home. And this is thanks to you, Jeff, Chris, Carrie, Jason, Archie, your lovely sisters and your mother Jeannie. She always greeted me with a big and caring smile and made sure I was okay as I was so far away from my country. May God and our Lord Jesus Christ welcome her into His eternal peace and give you comfort and strength during this difficult time. Keeping you in all my prayers.

My sincere sympathy in the loss of your precious mother. I last saw her at the grocery store 6 or 7 years ago. It was so

Boy will I miss this sweet soul. She was incredibly intelligent, with an amazing command of words and a vocabulary that always impressed me. Yet what I'll remember most was her kindness and warmth and always had a smile on her face :) They say some of the smartest and most compassionate people are librarians and teachers, and Jeanne embodied both. The children whose lives she touched were truly fortunate to have her and all her daughters are absolutely remarkable -- especially my Aunt Mary. She will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, nieces and nephews, etc. She will truly be missed.❤️

The first time I remember meeting Jeanne, her niece Heidi, and I drove from Illinois down to Gulf Shores to stay at their beautiful house. She rented on the beach. We got there at a weird hour like 4 o’clock in the morning so we slept in the car. Next thing we know we have someone knocking on our window waking us up asking us why are we sleeping in the car to come in the house. We had such a fabulous week on the beach and Jeanne was such a gracious host. I felt like family right away. I also loved playing Words with friends with Jeanne. Her being a teacher, she knew some great words and she was one of the opponents that I rarely beat. My love and condolences to all the family.
