We joined St Ann’s 25 years ago and Curt was one of the faces we could count in seeing. As an usher he always made us feel so welcomed at church. He always went out of his way to make sure he said hi to my family.
Our deepest sympathy to his family

It saddens us to hear Curt passed away. When we got married and lived in Channahon, we were members of St. Ann's Church. That was 48 yrs ago, we got to know his entire family at church, a beautiful family he had. Eileen was such a beautiful person, Alan and my husband both were on the Channahon Volunteer Fire Dept and we were a close knit Channahon family. Sheila we also knew through St. Ann's Church, she is a very friendly person like her Dad. We never knew where Curt lived, but about 10 years ago our son moved his family back to Channahon, (we had moved to Plainfield) so my son wanted his children in Channahon/Minooka Schools. Shortly after my son was in his home, he called me and said "Mom you remember Mr. Clark who was an usher at Sy. Ann's." I told my son, Alan and your Dad were on the Fire Dept together. We reconnected with Curt and it was so awesome to have him living directly across the street. Curt made the cutest things out of wood for my two granddaughters. My granddaughters would get his mail and pick up his newspaper when he wasn't able. To top it off, Curt would be at the end of his driveway to help my granddaughter off the bus... We really loved Curt, you never know who you are going to run into a few years later in life. My boys were young baby/ toddlers when we were at St. Ann's, Curt came back into our lives and he was the same sweet man! Who would imagine he would be in my granddaughters lives... Rest in peace and Eileen is at the doors of heaven waiting for you to come join her once again. To his family, we are sorry for your loss. May God bless you with comfort and strength during this most difficult time... Love, Chuck, Elaine, Ryan, Lou-Ann, Lily and Grace Keyser
