With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our baby girl, Juliette Mina Thompson, who left this world far too soon at just three months old. She was born on May 12, 2026, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Zane and Sarah (Oanea) Thompson. She passed away on August 22, 2026, at home.

From the moment she entered this world, she brought a special kind of love and light into the lives of everyone around her. Juliette loved to smile, and was happiest when she was being held close, especially while lying peacefully on her daddy’s chest. She loved having her little back patted, she enjoyed her warm baths, and gazing up at the ceiling fan with her sweet, curious eyes.

Her favorite place to sleep and nap was in the sunroom, where she rested peacefully within the warmth and comfort of home. Recently, she begun trying to laugh for the very first time.

Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will last a lifetime. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of loving her.

Juliette is survived by her parents, Zane and Sarah Thompson; her brothers, Carter, Peyton, and Cole; grandparents; an aunt, uncle and cousins.

Visitation for Juliette Mina Thompson will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
