I first got to meet Mrs. Griffin, when I was in 6th grade and when I was friends with Laurie. I loved being a part of the family , because that was the way she made you feel. When I was in high school I went through a rough time, when I came back to school, most mothers wouldn't let their daughters be a friend to me, and Mrs. Griffin at the time was just appalled by that. She was the only person to ever stick up for me, and treat me as a young girl who made a mistake. No one not family or relatives ever stood up for me. Her support, helped me to start to move forward to become the person I am today. Mrs. Griffin (then) now Mrs. Murphy, was a class act, a wonderful mother and a wonderful friend to have on your side. I will never forget her as long a s I live, and I will never be able to thank her enough for being there for me. Everyone of her children are just as wonderful as she is, I haven't seen some for years, but the apples haven't fallen far from the tree.
