Marilyn E. Olivero

Age 79, of Joliet, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.  Marilyn was born on December 9, 1938, to the late Louise and Leo Dobczyk.  She married Russell Olivero on September 29, 1956.  

Marilyn is survived by her five daughters, Pam (Michael) Stockhouse, Karla (Anthony) Geschke, Dora (Jim) Tamayo, Sue (Tim) Tackett, and Robin Blackman; fourteen grandchildren, Kenny, Christina, Andrew, Nathan, Lauren, Ashley, Jessie, Gabriella, Russell, Timmy, Ethan, Sarah, Kyle and Kayla; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Janet; and brother, Bobby.

She was preceded by her loving husband, Russell Olivero (2013); son, Rusty (in infancy); sister, Dorothy; and brothers, Billy and Leo “Sonny”.

All friends and relatives are invited to meet on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Church of St. Jude, 2212 McDonough St., Joliet, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.  There will be no visitation.  Fred C.
