Obituary of Timothy Joseph

Timothy Joseph

Age 73, of Joliet, IL, died Monday, July 9, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.  He was born December 14, 1944, in Joliet, to the late Dawson and Harriett (nee Morris) Joseph.

Beloved husband of 48 years to Judy Joseph; loving father of Aaron Joseph, Chad (Jen) Joseph and Megan (Josh) Valle; and proud and devoted “Papa” to Logan and Amanda and Colt and Wyatt.  Also surviving are his brother, Brian (Cathy) Joseph and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Beverly (the late Ron) Pastori.

Tim, a retired carpenter, was quick to offer a hand whenever needed.  He was truly in his element in the outdoors and always looked forward to fish fry’s at the cabin in Northern Wisconsin which may have only been overshadowed by the times spent with his grandchildren, whether going for ice cream or just “hanging out”.  He also enjoyed rooting on the Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers.

All friends and relatives of Timothy Joseph are invited to gather on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, where a Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.  As it was Tim’s request, cremation rites have been accorded and Inurnment will take place at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society or in keeping with Tim’s love of nature, have a tree planted in his memory by visiting www.nationalforests.org/donate/give-the-gift-of-trees.  For more information, please call (815) 741-5500 or visit his Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
