Obituary of Kevin G. Farrell

Kevin G. Farrell, age 85, of Joliet, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Born May 27, 1933 in Chicago, he was the son of James Leo and Aileen C. (nee Raleigh) Farrell.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James and  Patrick Farrell; and a nephew, Patrick C. Farrell, Jr.

Kevin worked as an auto detailer and a used car salesman for many years.

He is survived by his devoted sister, Mary Aileen Kurator of Crest Hill; one niece, Mary Aileen (John) Marcus; five nephews, James Farrell, William (Sue) Farrell, Michael (Theresa) Farrell, John (Paula) Kurator and Andrew Kurator; and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Kevin Farrell will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet.  Funeral services will be held Friday, at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Crest Hill, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation rites will be accorded following services, and burial of his urn will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington.
