Obituary of William Erker

William C. Erker "Bill" Age 66. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at The Timbers of Shorewood with his family by his side. Born in Chicago. A longtime Melrose Park resident retiring to Shorewood three years ago. Retired from the District 83 School District after many years of service. Bill enjoyed doing volunteer work, not only for The Timbers of Shorewood but also for his church, St. John Vianney in Northlake, IL. A member of the Holy Name Society at St. John Vianney and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Shorewood. Preceded by his father, Walter Erker (1962), and his brother, Walter Erker, Jr (1978). Survived by his loving mother, Marie (nee Holub) Erker of Shorewood; one sister, Mary (Richard) Bolland of Plainfield; four nephews; three nieces; one great niece; one great nephew; and many friends, especially at The Timbers. Funeral services for William C. Erker will be Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
